Review for stay at Omkar Lodge in Murud-Janjira by Mr. Sanjay Misal:Dear Sir, Our Company WIKA Instruments India Pvt.Ltd,Pune has sponsored our team in Maintenance Department to have an outing programme for a change in routine life. Ist May was a very rush day and it was difficult to organize with a short notice. Finally it was coordinated through HR for Murud Janjira and lodging and Boarding at your Lodge. We have enjoyed a lot during our trip 1.lodging facility was nice, clean, well maintained and also location is good. 2.Thanks to Mr.Pednekar - who has taken good care of us i.e.not only lodging boarding but also all the guidance for visiting sight scenes. 3.Dinner - Simple but good tasty food 4.TV/Radio etc are not provided in the room - It was good.... no breaking news,no advt.no kabhi sans kabhi bahu...no 20-20...... so that we enjoyed and had a relax deep sleep.

Review for stay in Omkar Lodge by Mr. Mahadevan and Mr. Suyog:- Omkar lodge is a nice place to live in. People at the lodge are very co-operative and take good care of the guests (Particularly, we wont forget the hot water which was made available for our bath at 11:00 pm in the night).....The place is close to the beach too and living at the lodge is very very reasonable....Good place to spend your weekend....

Attractions

Situated in the natural surrounding of farm with coconut and arecanut trees around. The experience is hence much different than a hotel or resort.
Famous Ganesha Temple is very close and you can hear prayer-bells in the early hours.
Real homestay with hosts staying in the same premises.
Homecooked food would be provided which is far better and healthier than that available in resorts.
Nandgaon beach is very beautiful but is not crowded as very few people know about it.
It is hence ideally suited for people seeking privacy and families. It is as good as private beach.
