Fort Aguada

Near the Mandovi River, Fort Aguada occupies a magnificent position. This is a very popular spot to watch the sunset, with nice views north and south. One of the reason why the fort is named as 'Aguada' is the abundance of water from natural springs on the hillside. ('agua' means water in Portugese)
