Ashtamudi Homestay |

 |
The homestay in Alappuzha is very close to backwater, just half a km away. Property is at town centre and close to jetty and bus-station. Free pick-up available from bus and railway-station. This is among the most covered places of Alappuzha in travel guide. It is therefore backwater's paradise, frequented by lot of foreigners. More |

| Places to see in Alappuzha |
| Alappuzha also known as Alleppy; is one the main tourist hubs of Kerala. Known, for its interesting location with backwaters of Lake Vembanad on one side and Arabian see on the other side. The town of Alleppy is situated on the narrow strip of land between these two huge water bodies. The backwaters of Lake Vembanad, are formed with water from sea coming in and many rivers merging in it. It is now divided with mud barriers of Thanneermukkom, which separate brackish water and sweet water.
